There are actually three discrete temporal moments on this page. From the top row to the middle left are King Mob's meeting with his old friend Boy and her daughter, as seen through a third-person viewpoint.
	To the middle right is Jack, who is hearing the story told through the first panels. Then, at the bottom, is Jack again, in the present day of the narrative. We've now ranged over at least three different seasons in maybe as many years -- but there's actually been very little action within the panels. There's been no change in their size or placement to indicate how to move between them; instead, the "camera" zooms in and out between frames, indicating the passage of time through the changing representation of bodies in space.
