Nathan and co are selling Jux2, their research project/meta search engine. When I last checked, the bidding was at $26, 300.00 after 3 days. The sale started, in true ebay fashion, with no reserve at $0.01.

Buyers with names like "businessdata1" make perfect sense. But I find myself asking, "Who is nachohernandez, and why would s/he want to pay $25,000.00 for a search engine?"

"People get turned off of games because repeated failures aren't appealing to them - because that's what the rest of their life is like. People aren't playing a game because they want to fail, and we need to understand that."'

And more wisdom...

"When we started Rockstar, we wanted to make games that we wanted to play and we weren't embarrassed to be playing," Mr. Houser said. "As a grown man, I find playing with an elf a little bit demeaning. You know what I mean?"

So true. That's why I only play dwarf characters.
