Fiasco is a game of misadventure
whose gameboard is the whole of New York. Players attempt
to conquer and control turf - as represented on a website's
virtual map of the city - by generating, performing, and documenting
public acts of utter stupidity on the real-world streets of
the city.
Originally created with Michele Chang as a master's thesis for the Interactive Telecommunications Program, Fiasco inspired digital street game, a game-based research probe currently being developed with Intel Research's People and Practices Group.
Why don't you stop by and take a look? And if you're in New York, why not play?
